November 20th, 2010 aboard the Caprice Yacht in the Ft. Lauderdale intracoastal I played for a wedding reception for Joseph & Jamie Allen. As guests and family boarded along with the newlyweds, a mix of oldies was the choice of music. After a full hour of cocktails, the guests made their way dowstairs to the dining room. The couple chose "Close To You" by the Carpenters to be introduced to. Then 8 toasts and speeches took place as the staff served a delicious sit down dinner. After dinner was the cutting of the cake and their first dance "Songbird" by Fleetwood Mac...along with 1st Father/Daughter dance"A Song For My Daughter" by Ray Allaire....then 2nd Father/Daughter dance "There Is Love" by Paul Stookey.....then the Mother/Son dance"You Raised Me Up" by Westlife.... It was PARTY TIME after all the special dances and agenda. What can I say about this couples family & friends, most came from London along with Jamie and Joe. FUN...FUN..FUN..as always takin care of the oldies and goodies first...then pumpin it up to top 40 R&B and Techno/House. I had this boat rockin' making sure all of London had a glance of how south florida parties..lol...Wishing Jamie & Joe the best..and thunbs up to Rose and the crew along with Larry Capedeville of "Imaginations" taking all the pictures and video...Thanks..Roberto (D.J.Rob)
