I played at a wedding on Saturday 2/12 on the Catalina Yacht for Jason and Alicia Jenkins.  What usually is a 4 hour charter turned into a 5 hour charter.  Jason and Alicia's ceremony was on the top deck.  The prelude, processional and recessional music was all traditional. All of the guests remained on the top deck for cocktail hour while Jason and Alicia took pictures on the front of the yacht along with there families.  Halfway through the cocktail hour we had all of the guests go to the front to take a big group picture which was requested by the bride.  Jason requested that the cocktail hour music be a mix of Marley, Sinatra, Buffett and Dino.  The guests later came down one level to the reception/dinner area where the introductions are also made.  The whole bridal party was introduced including the parents.  Jason and Alicia danced to At Last by Etta James as there first dance.  Then did the parents dances together to What a Wonderful World by L. Armstrong.  Alicia's dad Jim did the toast and then dinner was ready.  During dinner Jason's brother Joe, Alicia's sister Leah and her brother Jim made speeches also.  After dinner we still had 3 hours to go on the cruise, well these folks danced for 3 the whole 3 hours.  The only time they stopped was to take pictures of Jason and Alicia as they cut the cake. After that it was back to the dance floor.  The bride and groom requested a very wide selection of music for the dance party after dinner.  I played everthing from Elvis to Pitbull!!!!  That's how diverse the guests were.  I am so glad they had a great time.  2 thumbs up for the Catalina crew!!! Like always they make sure that the bride and groom are pampered on there special day.
