Wedding Aboard the Sun Dream Yacht

I had the pleasure of DJing Logan and Carla's Wedding on board the Sun Dream Yacht on January 15, 2022. Logan and Carla are in their early 20s and it was as great to see two young people in love and getting married! The guests boarded to soft music from Ed Sheeran and Beyonce. The ceremony was held on the top deck and officiated by the Captain. The bridal party walked down the aisle to Daniel Jang's violin cover of "All of Me" and Carla walked down the aisle to Jasmin Thompson's "A Thousand Years". During the ceremony the couple got a few shouts from passing by jet skiers! After the two were pronounced husband and wife the bell rang and they walked up the aisle to Leona Lewis "You Are the Reason". After the ceremony I played Kygo "Higher Love" and "Firestone" by request and introduced the bridal party to Dua Lipa's "Levitating". Logan and Carla had their first dance to "Perfect Strangers" by JP Cooper which they said had special meaning since he is from the Midwest and she is from Venezuela. After that Logan danced with his mom to "I'll be There" by Mac Miller. During dinner I played softer music like Viva La Vida by Coldplay interrupted by frequent tapping of glasses so the bride and groom would kiss. For the cake cutting I played "Cake by the Ocean", then it was time to dance! I played Pepas by Faruka, Mi Gente by J Balvin, Kiss by Prince, Tie Me Down by Gryffin by request, and Shout by the Isley Brothers. This group opted to dance on the Top Deck in the warm breezy Ft Lauderdale night weather. I ended the night with a song called Better Night by Louis the Child and Carla threw her bouquet to her maid of honor. I wish these two young lovebirds the best!
