Wedding and Receptio at the Riverside Hotel

On Saturday November 9th, 2013 I was at the Riverside Hotel playing for Heather and Dr. Jack Bascome and 75 family members and friends. The ceremony was moved indoors because of high winds & rain, but the that didn't damper the spirit of this party, let's just say many of the guests were "feeling good" before the ceremony took place! The ceremony music was all Vitamin String Quartet for the processional and recessional, and I played 7 pre- selected songs that Heather chose, while her guests were being seated. The cocktail hour was a mix of adult contemporary tunes from the 70's til the present. Next up....Party Time! The guests were invited to the main ballroom which was glowing with Amber LED up lighting provided by Eddie B & Company. The bridal party was pumped and primed as I introduced them to "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC. The Heather & Jack were introduced to "Kick Start My Heart" by Motley Crew! Let me tell you right now, I have never heard 75 people make more noise than this group......out of control! The  first dance was "Thank you" by Chris Cornell, followed by 2 heart warming and entertaining toasts by the M.O.H. and B.M. The father /daughter dance was to "My Wish", and the mother/son dance was to "God Only Knows'. After dinner I got the dance floor rolling with a traditional Hora, and from there on this group danced and partied for 3 solid hours! I played a lot of Top 40 Club hits and Retro 80's music. We paused only to cut the cake to 'You Make My Dreams Come True' by Hall & Oates, then back to dancing. The final 2 songs were "A Little Help From My Friends" by The Beatles, and "Glad You Came" by The Wanted. From there, I don't know where the party went, but it definitely continued somewhere! WOW!!!! Thank you Heather & Jack, I won't forget this night for a while! DJ/MC Eddie B
