Wedding and Reception Aboard the Caprice Yacht

Matt and Capri's wedding was held aboard the Caprice Yacht in Ft. Lauderdale on April 28th. Many of their family members took a charter bus from Georgia to witness the two of them get married on the top-deck just before sunset. They were blessed with some perfect Florida Spring weather. I started things off with a mix of island Reggae tunes from Bob Marley while guests were boarding. The bride walked down the aisle to Rock You Like a Hurricane by the Scorpions as a joke before her processional song which was A Thousand Years by Christina Perri. Once announced husband and wife the newlyweds celebrated to Best Day of My Life by American Authors as they walked back down the aisle together. After the ceremony was over I switched it over to some country and pop favorites with some requests from the guests for the cocktail hour. After some pictures it was time to introduce the newlyweds. I pumped up the crowd as I announced the new Mr. and Mrs. Stoller as they walked in to You Make My Dreams Come True by Hall and Oates. The cheering continued as I invited them to the middle of the floor for their first dance to You Are the Best Thing by Ray LaMontagne, followed by a very special mother/son dance to Loves Me Like a Rock by Paul Simon. After the first dances I invited the guests down to the dining area for dinner while Matt’s parents and brother made a toast along with Capri’s Uncle. After dinner, we continued the party on the mid-deck while I played a mix of country, pop, hip hop, and disco for all the guests to enjoy. I closed everything out to Friends in Low Places by Garth Brooks as we all sang along before ending the evening. Congratulations to Matt and Capri.
