Rosemarie and Shellie’s Wedding Aboard the Caprice
Rosemarie and Shellie’s wedding was held aboard the Caprice Yacht Charter in Ft. Lauderdale on July 29th. Many of their family members flew in from California and different parts of the country to watch the two get married on the top-deck just before sunset. They were blessed with some perfect Florida summer weather. I started things off with a mix of old and new hits while guests were boarding. The ladies walked down the aisle to A Thousand Years by Christina Perri and once announced married their recessional song was Hooked on a Feeling by Vonda Shepard. Once the ceremony was over I switched it over to some 80s hits for the cocktail hour. After some pictures it was time to introduce the wedding party and the newlyweds. They chose the song Walking on Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves. I pumped everyone up and the cheering continued as I invited them to the middle of the floor for their first dance to Still the One by Shania Twain, followed by the combined dance where Rosemarie’s parents joined her on the dance floor along with Shellie and her children to Can You Feel the Love Tonight by Elton John. We took a little break for dinner around 8:00pm as I played some cool contemporary before continuing the fun. They also had one of Eddie B & Companies Open Air photo booths onboard to entertain their guests and they received an album at the end of the night containing all of the pictures. The cake was cut to a new favorite, Cake by the Ocean by DNCE as the guests sang along. The reception continued after that and the guests danced the whole night. Congratulations to Rosemarie and Shellie. I had a blast with you guys. - DJ ELOW
