Wedding and Reception Aboard the Caprice Yacht

Ashton and Bryan were married on board the Caprice Yacht on January 7, 2023 and I had the pleasure of being their DJ. For my first wedding of the new year this was a terrific group of guests, many of whom were flying to South Florida from cooler places in the country. It was a gorgeous day on the Ft Lauderdale Intra-Coastal Waterway. As the guests arrived I played hand picked music from Ashton including Brothers Osborne - I Don't Remember Me, Ellie Goulding - How Long Will I Love You, Beatles - Here Comes the Sun, and Zac Brown Band - Free. Many of the couples I work with have an idea of what kind of music they want as the guests arrive and I am happy to accommodate. The ceremony began with the Couple's nieces and nephews walking in to The Good I'll Do by Zach Bryan. Ashton walked down the aisle to the Kacey Musgraves version of Can't Help Falling in Love. After Bryan and Ashton were married they walked back up the aisle to All I See is You by Shane Smith and the Saints. After the ceremony the guests were ready to dance! I played Wild Cherry - Play that Funky Music, Shania Twain - Man I Feel Like a Woman and B-52s - Love Shack. Then I introduced the Bridal Party including nieces and nephews Ember, Hazel and Caslin and Mr and Mrs Bryan Abraham to ACDC's Thunderstruck! After that Bryan and Ashton had their first dance to Chris Stapleton - Joy of My Life, then the Father Daughter Dance to Elvie Shane - My Boy (My Girl Version) and the Mother and Son Dance to Rascal Flatts - My Wish. During dinner I played songs like Aerosmith - Angel, Creed - My Sacrifice and Nate Smith - Under My Skin. After dinner Bryan and Ashton cut the cake to Ellie Goulding - Still Falling for You. Then we played the Anniversary Game where I asked all the married couples to come to the dance floor. While I played Eric Clapton - Wonderful Tonight I had couples sit down starting with those married two hours (Ashton and Bryan) up to 60 years! Bryan's Grandparents were the last standing with 61 years of marriage! When I asked their secret he said "We are still on our honeymoon!" Bryan and Ashton danced with them and it made for a wonderful moment. The night ended with songs like Don Henley - All She Wants to Do Is Dance and Frank Sinatra - New York New York. Bryan and Ashton's wedding was a wonderful experience and I truly wish them the best!
