Kerla and Wislet Metayer celebrated their wedding aboard the Caprice Yacht in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 11/5/2017. As the approximate 60 guests boarded the Caprice they were directed to the top deck for the ceremony. It was beautiful Sunday early afternoon as the Caprice cruised the intra coastal water-ways. After the ceremony all of the guests were invited to the cocktail hour on the top and middle decks. I played a mix of tropical tunes as all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. The bridal party and bride and groom intros were performed on the middle deck (where I am set-up). The first dance was to An Ti Moment by Jim Rama then Kerla danced with her dad and Wislet danced with his mom to Map Marye by Klass. All of the guests were then invited to the lower deck for a buffet style dinner. The toast was given by Max (best man) them Pastor Paulicin gave the blessing of the meal. Kerla did provide me with a play list that included top 40, r&b, hip-hop and Kompa. As the guests came up to the mid-deck after dinner they hit the dance floor for some dancing fun. There was no garter toss but Kerla did have a bouquet toss along with the cake cutting ceremony. The closing song for the evening was I Don't Care by Sweet Mickey as the Caprice approached the dock. Congrats to Kerla, Wislet and the entire Metayer and Charles families.
Special thanks to Capt. Pat and the crew aboard the Caprice for always providing a smooth ride!
