Talia and Aaron's Wedding Aboard the Caprice

Talia and Aaron's wedding was held aboard the Caprice Yacht Charter in Ft. Lauderdale on March 17th. Many of their family members drove together in a bus from Georgia to watch the two get married on the top-deck just before sunset. They were blessed with some perfect Florida Spring weather. I started things off with a mix of hip hop jazz while guests were boarding. The bride walked down the aisle to Fall for You by Leela James and once announced husband and wife Talia and Aaron celebrated to Signed, Sealed Delivered by Stevie Wonder as they walked back down the aisle together. Once the ceremony was over I switched it over to some 2000s R&B with some soul music for the cocktail hour. After some pictures it was time to introduce the newlyweds. I pumped up the crowd as I announced the new Mr. and Mrs. Ruffin as they walked in to All I Do Is Win by DJ Khaled. The cheering continued as I invited them to the middle of the floor for their first dance to Your My Latest, My Greatest Inspiration by Teddy Pendergrass, followed by the Father Daughter dance to Your Joy by Chrisette Michelle. Shortly after the Talia was done dancing with her dad, Aaron was invited to bring his mother to the dancefloor for their first dance. They chose You are the Sunshine of my Life by Stevie Wonder. We took a little break for dinner around 8:00pm as I played some jazz before continuing the fun. The cake was cut to an old favorite, Spend My Life with You by Eric Benet & Tamia as the guests sang along. The reception continued after that and the guests danced the whole night.
