Wedding and Reception Aboard the Catalina Yacht

On Saturday June 10th I had the pleasure to play for Brian and Leslie’s wedding celebration aboard the Catalina Yacht. As guests were boarding I played a mix of tropical steel drum songs. Ceremony took place on upper deck. The bridal party walked down to “Canon in D Major” By Johann Pachelbel. Leslie walked down to “Somewhere Only We Know” By The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. Recessional was to “Wedding March” By Mendelssohn's. During cocktail hour I played a great mix of island & country tunes. The bridal party introduction took place in main dining room. Bridal Party was introduced to “Good Life” by G-Eazy. Brian and Leslie were introduced to “Something Just Like This” By Chainsmokers, followed by their very special first dance to “I’m Gonna be 500 Miles” by Sleeping at Last. Father and daughter dance was to “My Girl” By Temptations. Mother and son dance was to “Stand By Me” By Ben E. King. Speeches were done by best man Travis and maid of Jennifer. During dinner I played a mix of light Jazz. Cake Cutting was to “Love Story” By Taylor Swift, followed by bouquet toss to “ Wannabe” By Spice Girls. Garter removal was to ”Austin Powers Theme Song”. From there on I rocked the dance floor until the end of the night by mixing the hottest peruvian cumbia, merengue, salsa, reggaeton, top 40’s and 80’s. Last song of the evening was to ” Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” By Marvin Gaye.
