Wedding and Reception Aboard the Catalina Yacht

Nicole's 30th birthday was held aboard the Catalina Yacht Charter in Ft. Lauderdale on May 19th. We had some nice cool weather after a rainy day which was ideal for the guests to relax and enjoy the night no matter where they were on the boat. I started things off with a mix of old Salsa and Mambo while guests were boarding. During the party the guests were entertained as I held a dance contest, followed by Carter’s Karaoke as he made an awesome attempt at singing Ignition (Remix) by R. Kelly. We took a break for dinner around 8:30. Nicole’s 2 sisters and some friends decided to share a toast with everyone before inviting all the guests up to sing Happy Birthday to the Nicole. After we were done singing, I asked Nicole’s dad to join her in the middle of the dance floor as they shared their first dance to Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlisle. After the first dance it was party time and I switched it over to some reggaeton and merengue favorites with some requests from the guests for everyone to get up and dance to. The party was on the dancefloor while I played a mix of Hip Hop, Salsa, Merengue, and Mambo for all the guests to enjoy. Thank you to the awesome staff at Sun Dream Yachts.
