Wedding and Reception Aboard the Catalina Yacht

On March 30th, 2019, I had the pleasure of DJing and MCing the wedding reception of Cody and Katie on the beautiful Catalina Yacht. The guests started arriving for the ceremony at 6:15. The ceremony was held on the sundeck. The bridal party processional was to Beethoven's 5 Secrets by The Piano Guys. Then Katie walked down the aisle to the Wedding March by The Piano Guys After the I Do’s  Cody and Katie walked back down the aisle  to Marry Me by Bruno Mars. Everybody stayed on the sun deck for the cocktail hour I played a mixture of easy listening music. Then the guests gathered for a big group family picture. I invited all the guests down to the dining room for the reception ceremonies. The bridal party and the Katie & Cody made their entrance to I'm On A Boat by T-Pain and the Lonely Island. After that it was time for the first dance, I Got You by Jack Johnson. Then it was time for the father-daughter dance Little Miss Magic by Jimmy Buffett was chosen. I invited Cody to escort his mother to the dance floor for the mother-son dance, Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo’ola. After that, the guests were seated and the toasts were given by Kimi the maid of honor and Chris the best man. After dinner the guests danced  to a mix of music, some 80s hip-hop, dance music, and rock'n roll.  The cake cutting was to Sugar Sugar by the Archie's.  Katie  tossed her bouquet to Glamorous by Fergie.  During the garter removal and toss  Cody made a joke and had a bottle of water and an ace bandage to Katie's leg. We ended the night with dancing until we docked. It was a lot of fun and my pleasure to DJ for Cody and Katie.
