On Saturday June 22nd I had the pleasure to play for Michael and Kimberly’s wedding aboard the Catalina yacht. Approximately 105 close family members and friends joined them for their celebration. As guests boarded I played a mix of tropical songs. Ceremony took place on the upper deck. Bridal party walked down the aisle to “You Raise Me Up” by Daniel Jang Violin, Kimberly walked down the aisle to “A Thousand Years” by Piano Guys, once announced husband and wife they walked out to “Let’s Get This Party Started” by Black Eyed Peas. Cocktail hour took place on top deck. I played a mix of Jason Mraz, John Legend, Bob Marley and many other artists. Once cocktail hour concluded guests were invited to the main dining room for introductions and dances. Bridal party introduction was to “I Got A Feeling” by Black Eyed Peas, followed by their very special first dance to “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. Kimberly Shared a special father and daughter dance to “My Little” by Tim McGraw, Michael shared a dance with mom to “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts. Speeches were given by the best man Michael and maid of honor Melanie. During dinner I played a mix of rat pack. Once dinner concluded bouquet toss was to “Single Ladies” by Beyonce, followed by garter removal to “Pony” by Genewine. Dance floor was opened to all the hits of top 40’s, 80’s, pop, reggaeton, salsa and all the fun line dances. Last song of the evening was to was to a fun mashup with various hit songs to end the night with a bang.
