Frankie and LeEsta's wedding ceremony and reception were held aboard the Catalina Yacht Charter in Ft. Lauderdale on September 23rd. Many of their family members flew in from all over Florida and Cuba to watch the two get married on the top deck just before sunset. They were blessed with some perfect Florida Summer weather. The bridal party walked out to A Thousand Years by Christina Perri and the beautiful bride walked down the isle to Canon in D by Pachelbel. Once announced as the new Mr. and Mrs. Rodriguez, the newlyweds celebrated together while I played Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder as their recessional song. I started things off with a mix of reggae and modern Pop hits for the cocktail hour, while guests were boarding. After some pictures it was time to introduce the newlyweds. I pumped everyone up and the cheering continued as I introduced the parents and bridal party to Bring ‘Em Out by T.I. I hyped up the crowd to get them ready for the newlyweds as they were introduced to Let’s Get It Started by Black Eyed Peas. I invited them to the middle of the floor for their first dance to Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran. Shortly after the first dance, I asked LeEsta’s father, Robert to join her on the dance floor as they danced to My Little Girl by Tim McGraw. We took a little break for dinner around 8:30 as I played some R&B, before continuing the fun. The reception continued after that and the guests danced the whole night. Congratulations to Frankie and LeEsta. I had a blast with you guys. - DJ ELOW
