Eddie and Qaysara's wedding was held aboard the Catalina Yacht in Ft. Lauderdale on November 22nd. The family members gathered on the top-deck as the couple exchanged vows with the breeze blowing just before sunset. They were blessed with some perfect Florida fall weather. I started things off with a mix of island reggae from Bob Marley while guests were boarding. The bride walked down the aisle to Canon in D by Pachelbel. Once announced husband and wife the newlyweds celebrated to Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder as they walked back down the aisle together. After the ceremony was over I switched it over to some country and pop favorites with some requests from the guests for the cocktail hour. After some pictures it was time to introduce the newlyweds. I pumped up the crowd as I announced the new Mr. and Mrs. Burgos as they walked in to Happy by Pharrell Williams. The cheering continued as I invited them to the middle of the floor for their first dance to Can’t Help Falling In Love by Elvis Presley, followed by a very special father daughter dance to My Girl by Temptations, and a touching mother son dance to A Song For Mama by Boyz II Men. After the first dances I invited the guests to the buffet tables for dinner just after a very touching toast by Qaysara’s Uncle and father. After dinner, we continued the party while I played a mix of reggaeton, soca, hip hop, and disco for all the guests to enjoy. I closed everything out to We Are Family by Sister Sledge as we all sang along before ending the evening. Congratulations to Eddie and Qaysara! I had a blast with you and your awesome family. - DJ ELOW
