On Friday, November 11, 2022 I had the honor of DJing Chris and Kenzie's Wedding on board the Catalina. It was Veteran's Day and one of the relatives came in his full NAVY Uniform. I thanked him for his service and told him if we come under attack he can lead us into battle! Kenzie is a Disney fan so their wedding was full of Disney songs. For the Bridal Processional I played the Instrumental Version of Part of Your World from the movie Aladin. Kenzie walked down the aisle to the Instrumental Version of Under the Sea from The Little Mermaid and the ceremony ended with Kiss the Girl also from the Little Mermaid. During Cocktail Hour I played a mix of Island Music along with selections from Chris and Kenzie's playlist including Cruise by Florida Georgia Line, Fancy Like by Walker Hayes, Broken by Lovelytheband and You'll be in My Heart by Phil Collins. After Cocktail Hour I Introduced the Bridal Party to Can't Stop the Feeling by Justin Timberlake and I introduced the Bride and Groom to Missing Piece by Vance Joy. Chris and Kenzie had their first dance to the Instrumental Version of Aerosmith's "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing", Kenzie danced with her father to Tim McGraw's version of "Tiny Dancer", and Chris Danced with his Mom to the Eagles "Desperado". After that the Matron of Honor and the Best Man gave a toast and talked about their memories with the Bride and Groom. During dinner I play soft music so everyone can enjoy conversation. I am always happy to play special requests and dedications. "I See the Light" from the movie Tangled was specially requested for the Bride's daughter, Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" was specially requested for the Ring Bearer Calvin who also had a twin brother running around! I played "I Hope you Dance" by Lee Ann Womack for the bride's Mom and also a special dedication for the Bride's Sister. If you give me a list in advance of dedications I will make sure to play them for you! Kenzie did her bouquet toss to Beyonce - Single Ladies and the Garter Removal and toss to Danger Zone! Chris and Kenzie had given the green light for line dances so I went ahead with the Cha Cha Slide, Cotton Eye Joe, and also classics "Yeah!" by Usher, You Shook Me All Night Long by ACDC and 24k Magic by Bruno Mars. Whatever your music taste is I will be sure to get your party moving! The night wrapped up with Don't Stop Believin by Journey. Chris and Kenzie are a wonderful couple and their families and friends are very kind and fun people and it was a pleasure to be part of their memories!
