Wedding and reception Aboard the Catalina Yacht

On Saturday November 12, 2022 I had the honor of DJing Rachel and Mike's Wedding on board the Catalina Yacht. As the guests arrived I played soft tropical music and selections from Rachel and Mike's playlist. For the ceremony the bridal party entered to the Daniel Jang violin cover of All of Me by John Legend. Rachel walked down the aisle to the classic Pachelbel's Cannon in D. After pronounced husband and wife I played Hey Ya by Outkast. During cocktail hour I played a mix of island music along with selections from Rachel and Mike's playlist including Cruise by Florida Georgia Line, Fancy Like by Walker Hayes, Blister in the Sun by Violent Femmes and Wild Blue by John Mayer. After Cocktail Hour I Introduced the bridal party to C&C Music Factory's Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now). Rachel and Mike had their first dance to John Mayer's "Love is a Verb", Rachel danced with her father to Frank Sinatra's "The Way You Look Tonight" and Michael Danced with his Mother to "One More Dance with my Son" by My One and Only. After that the Matron of Honor and the Best Man Kelly and Kevin gave a toast and talked about their memories with the Bride and Groom. During dinner I play soft music so everyone can enjoy conversation.  After dinner we busted out the props! Fun hats, sunglasses that light up and my favorite, foam glow sticks! I highly recommend these for your party! I played a mix of dance floor packers and songs from the bride and groom's playlist including Girl's Just Wanna Have Fun, Love Shack, the Cupid Shuffle, Uptown Funk, September by Earth Wind and Fire, also What's My Age Again by Blink 182 as the Rachel & Mike said they are huge fans plus Ain't It Fun by Paramore and Whitney Houston - I Wanna Dance with Somebody. The night wrapped up with Rehab by Amy Winehouse and a glow stick sendoff for Rachel and Mike as they got off the boat! It was a pleasure to be part of Rachel and Mike's Special Day!
