On December 3, 2022, Paul and Robyn exchanged their vows aboard the Catalina Yacht of Fort Lauderdale. Their vows took place on the upper deck below a blue open sky. As the guests arrived, they were escorted to the upper deck to enjoy some cocktails and appetizers just before the wedding ceremony. The bridal party walked down to “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole. Robyn walked down to “Can’t Help Falling In Love” by Kina Grannis. The recessional was “Fly Me To The Moon” by Frank Sinatra. As the wedding finished, the guests stayed on the upper deck to start their cocktail hour. I played some pop 80’s music. When the cocktail ended, the guests made their way to the lower deck, the dining area, to await the formal introductions. The bridal party was introduced to “Let’s Get It Started’ by the Black Eyed Peas. Paul and Robyn were introduced to “Let’s Get Ready To Rumble” from Space Jams. Paul and Robyn danced their first song as husband and wife to ”A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri. After the formal dances, speeches and a prayer were given. As tables were called up to the buffet style stations, I played some Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and some soft Motown. When dinner ended, we went right to cutting the cake, garter and bouquet toss so we can have more dancing time. Then the party really started as I played Disco, 80’s pop and a little of mid 90’s hip/hop. We closed the night with “Last dance” by Donna Summers. Paul and Robyn had a light stick exit with all their guests raising them up in the air.
I would like to thank the entire crew of the Catalina for being attentive to the guests as well as Paul and Robyn. You guys did a great job
Thank you
