Wedding and reception Aboard the Catalina Yacht

Lauren and Lloyd Macedo celebrated their wedding aboard the Catalina Yacht out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 5/5/2023.  The ceremony was held at a nearby church then approximately 75 close friends and family members boarded the Catalina and were invited to the top deck for the cocktail hour.  I decorated the reception area (main deck) with 12 blue, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests found their seats I introduced Lauren and Lloyd into the reception with Crazy In Love by Beyonce.  The first dance was to Special Angel by Bobby Helms then Lauren danced with her dad to What A Wonderful World by L. Armstrong and Lloyd danced with his mom to Hero by Mariah Carey.  The toasts were given by Sang (BM), Ryan (GM), Lindsay (MOH) and Alyson (Bridesmaid) then everyone enjoyed a buffet style dinner.  Lloyd did provide me with a nice play list that included top 40, oldies, disco, Motown and latin favorites. Great mix of genres for this very energetic group of guests.  Lauren and Lloyd did have a cake cutting ceremony and the bouquet toss as the evening progressed.

As the Catalina approached the dock I played New York, New York by Frank Sinatra as the closing song.

Congrats to Lauren, Lloyd and the entire Johnston and Macedo families.
