Good Day Bloggers!
DJ Gregg here with this week's installment of the Wedding Blog.
On Saturday I had the pleasure of being the DJ for Ani and James. The Ceremony and reception were on board the wonderful Sun Dream Yacht.
As the guests arrived, they were invited to the top deck to prepare for the wedding ceremony. I was instructed to play some music by the Vitamin String Quartet
while the boat sailed over to the Cove for the wedding ceremony. As Ani Entered, I played "Here Comes The Bride" by Wagner.
Captain Pat, did a great job of officiating the ceremony. As soon as the nuptials were sealed, the air horn was set off and I played "If You Ain't Got Love" by Bon Jovi.
The guests stayed topside for cocktail hour and watched Ani and Jim take pictures. I mixed up the music with island, jazz, contemporary, standards and Reggae.
The grand entrance of Jim and Ani went off with no issues and they started their first dance. "Amazed" by Lone Star was chosen.
Immediately after that, I invited Jim to say a few words and welcome everyone.
Soon after that I invited the guests downstairs to the dining room for dinner. Everything looked yummy!
I played some "South Beach" lounge music along with some Island tunes to keep the evening light.
Once dinner was done, It was back to the lounge deck for the cake cutting. Ani and Jim chose "Sugar Sugar" by The Archies. It was a really nice touch.
After that, I got the dance floor moving with special requests from Jim and Ani. They loved tunes from the 80's and 90's, etc. As well as classics, Latin and typical wedding fare.
It was a great party.
Congrats to the bride and groom
