Wedding and Reception Aboard the Sun Dream Yacht

All aboard!!! It’s a beautiful day here in Ft. lauderdale Florida and its me DJ Cristian aboard the Sun Dream Yacht about to set sail for Eric and Mocte’ma’s wedding celebration! It’s Saturday April 27th and there are around forty guests boarding and making their way up to the top deck for the ceremony. The guests take their seats and the Captain takes his place.   The bridal party walks to Couple of Forevers by Chrisette Michelle. Eric makes his way down the aisle to Promise to Love by Kem and now the time has come for Mocte’Ma to make her way to her future husband. Fall For You by Leelah James is what Mocte’Ma chose to walk down the aisle to as she leaves the last minute or so of her single life to join Eric in holy matrimony. Eric and Mocte’Ma say their I do’s and they are married! They exit to I’m Blessed by Charlie Wilson and all the guests cheer and then make their way to deck two of the Sun Dream yacht for the cocktail hour. With the cocktail hour complete it's time for Eric and Mocte’Ma’s grand entrance. I introduce them to Apeshit by the Carters. They shake a tail feather on the dance floor and then I slow things down and start playing Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran for their first dance as husband and wife. As their dance comes to and end I now invite Mocte’Ma’s two sons to dance with their mother to A Song For Mama by Boyz II Men. Now it is time for Eric to dance with his mother and they dance to Because You Love Me by Celine Dion. As the dances come to an end the time for dinner to be served has arrived and I invite all the guests down to the dining room. All the guests are now done with their meals and they make their way up to deck two of the Sun Dream yacht to start the party! As soon as everyone is up I invite all the ladies on the dance floor for the bouquet toss. Then Mocte’Ma tosses the bouquet to Ladies Night by Lil Kim. Now Eric  removes the garter  to Sexual Healing by Marvin Gaye and tosses it to Still Not A Player by Big Pun. Now I have the two winners of the tosses on the dance floor so that the garter can be put on the lady’s leg that caught the bouquet for luck. It was hilarious and a lot of fun for me to orchestrate. Always my favorite part of a wedding. With all the festivities wrapped up, it is time to party!!! I start of with some r&b and then dropped some line dances on them. I then continue to play from the list provided by Mocte’Ma and Eric. It was a fun mix of hip hop, r&b and old school that was a lot of fun! It was a pleasure and a lot of fun to play for Mocte’Ma, Eric and their families. They were all such wonderful people, I wish them the very best!
