Wedding and Reception Aboard the Sun Dream Yacht

Ashley & Jake Morris celebrated their wedding aboard the Sun Dream Yacht out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 1/20/2020.  As the approximate 50 guests boarded the Sun Dream that early Monday night, they were all directed to the top deck for the ceremony.  Ashley and Jake sealed their love with a big kiss then all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers for the first hour of his 4 hour wedding cruise along the inter-coastal water ways.  The intros and the dances were performed on the mid (2nd deck) of the yacht.  Ashley and Jake danced to If I Ain't Got You by Alicia Keys for their first dance then Ashley danced with her dad to Drops Of Jupiter by Train and Jake danced with his mom to Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd.  All of the guests were then invited to the lower deck for a buffet style dinner.  During diner a few family members gave a toast/mini roast to the bride and groom then they all headed back up to the mid deck for some dancing fun.  Ashley did provide me with a play list that included top 40, 70s and 80s dance hits, hip-hop and r&b classics.  The dance floor was packed all night and they also took a quick break for the cake cutting ceremony (no garter/bouquet toss).  As the Sun Dream approached the dock I played Closing Time by SemiSonic and that put a bow on a nice Monday night wedding cruise.  Congrats to Ashley, Jake and the entire Morris family.
