Hello Party People,
We had another exciting Wedding on the Sundream last Saturday. I want to take this opportunity to congratulate Joshua and Julie Greenwood on their recent wedding. We had a beautiful ceremony to begin the evening. The prelude was I Do by 98 Degree's, next the processional was Somewhere Over The Rainbow, and after the ceremony the recessional was Beautiful Day by U2. After the ceremony the Bride and Groom took some beautiful pictures while the guest's enjoyed happy hour. It was a good mix of friends and family relaxing and enjoying the ambiance. Next it was time to announce the Bride and Groom for the first time! The energy was high when the Bride and Groom were announced. Their first dance was Love Of A Lifetime by Firehouse. It was a magical moment. After the first dance the Groom danced with his mother too A Song For Momma a classic by Boys II Men. Joshua did his best to hold back his tears however you could see this meant a lot for him. Halfway through the song I invited the couples to join in. After the dance's it was time for Jonathan Emmons to do the toast. The speech was nice and very appropriate and included stories of the Bride and Groom. Once the toast was completed we called for the guest's to have dinner. The food was incredible your choice of Prime Rib, Chicken fresh vegetables, ceaser salad and rolls. During the dinner we had two song dedications. Julie the Bride dedicated At Last By Etta James. The groom Joshua, dedicated Just The Way You Are by Bruno Mars to his new wife. The dinner went very well and shortly after the guest's came upstairs to finish the formalities. The cake was very beautiful, we did the cutting of the cake too All You Need Is Love by The Beatles. So needless to say the Bride and Groom were polite with each other and actually fed one another. I always wonder if a cake fight is going to happen! Then we did the removal of the garter to a classic ZZ Tops Legs. After the garter was removed Joshua tossed the garter to a reluctant single man lol. It's funny the bachelors always seem to run away from the garter and the women will dive for the bouquet! So next Julie had the single ladies line up to Beyonce's song Single Ladies and she threw the bouquet. Now the is the part I get a kick out of every time, Since we had children involved I let the gentleman who put the garter on use his hands. Usually I let them use anything except their hands. Just use your imagination. After the formalities and was time to just dance and have fun. We had great energy the whole night. Joshua and Jill literally danced to almost every song while the good friend Kevin had some dance routines of his own. All in all it was a wonderful time. It always feels great when the reception goes off perfectly and everyone is smiling and having a fun! My best wishes to Joshua and Julie, may life bring them blessing's beyond belief!!!
Sincerely,
