Wedding and Reception at a Private Home / Plantation Acres

On Saturday June 14 Peter and Debra Drolet had a beautiful Wedding and Reception at a private home in Plantation acres Florida. There was an hour and a half of mingling and cocktails followed by the actual outdoor ceremony at poolside. The 80 guests in attendance  enjoyed the pre ceremony music which was a mixture of soft rock with some R& B classics. Later, at the Bride and Groom's request, I played Rock Classics from the 70s and 80s. It was a casual affair and the guests danced, conversed, enjoyed dinner and drinks all night. The atmosphere was such that even a volleyball game was played and enjoyed by the younger portion of guests while simultaneously people danced. There was a 1st Dance to Van Morrison's Brown Eyed Girl and the brother of the groom proposed a toast. Other that that there was very little formal ceremony. Needless to say, everyone had a great time and the last half hour was highlighted by almost everyone dancing to a high energy set of Classic Rock party songs! DJ/MC John Terry
