Under a tent in the backyard of a family member is where Michael and Julie were
married by another family member. For the processional I played A Thousand
Years by Christina Perri for the bridal party. Julie walked to Marry Me by Train. Once
pronounced husband and wife they walked back down the aisle to Marry You, the
Glee Version.
During cocktail hour since it was a very casual event and
everyone was wearing casual attire and from out of town, I played steel drum
music that was a big hit.
I introduced the bridal party and danced them onto the floor with the bride
and groom to Forever by Cris Brown. The first dance was Then by Brad Paisley.
Julie danced with her dad to My Little Girl by Tim McGraw. Mike danced with his
mom to My Wish by Rascal Flatts.
After the buffet I danced all the guests
all night. Hip hop, old school and a lot of music from 2008 because this was when they
graduated. Line dances such as Cupid shuffle, Cha Cha slide, and the
Cotton Eye Joe were a big hit.
As the party came to an end I played
Closing Time by Semi Sonic.
Off on there honeymoon to Hawks Cay in the Florida Keys.
I will be in Miami and Deerfield Beach next week for two weddings for the virtual DJ Marc Evans.
