Saturday evening January 15th at the Abacoa Country Club in Jupiter is where the reception was held for John and Allison White with DJ Marc Evans. As guests arrived for the ceremony that was held outside on a clear sunny but cool breeze afternoon on the golf course is where John and Allison will become one. The bridal party walked down the aisle to A Thousand years, flooded by Allison to Here Comes the Sun by Benny Martin. Once the ceremony concluded, Allison and John walked back down the aisle to Everlasting Love by Natalie Cole.
Cocktail hour was very mellow and music was provided by a guest for Abacoa to play through there sound system.
As cocktails ended, I lined up the bridal party along with John and Allison for the entrance into the main room. The song they chose to be introduced to was Best Days of My Life for everyone. The first dance was to Second Guessing by Florida Georgia Line. The mother/son and the father/daughter dances followed which were to You'll be in My Heart and My Wish by The Rascal Flatts.
During dinner I started to follow the very extensive list of music provided as the food stations were open and background music was played.
Once dinner concluded, the party began with line dances that included the Wobble, Cotton Eye Joe, The Cupid Shuffle, The Electric Slide and yes the Macarena. The young group of friends and family danced all night.
The cake was cut to Sugar Sugar by The Archies followed by the bouquet toss to Single Ladies by Beyonce....
The party concluded Time of Your Life from Dirty Dancing and then I invited the guests outside for a sparkler send off as John and Allison did a slow song alone in an empty room to A Thousand Years by Christina Perry. A great time was had by all with DJ Marc Evans.
