Hello again from the virtual DJ Marc Evans celebrating with Aaron and Sari Cohen on a traditional Jewish Wedding at B'nai Torah Congregation in Boca Raton.Underneath the Chuppah in front of 120 guests, the Rabbi performed a traditional ceremony for Aaron and Sari while family and friends watched on. The groom, the bridal party and the Rabbi , walked down the aisle to Canon in D. The bride selected to walk down the aisle to, First Love by Utar. When the bride and groom were pronounced husband and wife, I played as requested, Who Loves You by Frankie Valli. Great choice as they jammed down the aisle and the guests cheered for the newlyweds. For cocktail hour, I played music that was requested and very new to me that sounded awesome. The Vitamin String Quartet, they play all the popular songs using a violin and a cello. Something to consider for your cocktail hour. The music was once again perfectly played and selected by Marc Evans as all the guests enjoyed the beautiful string quartet. Once cocktail hour was over, the guests were invited to a very beautiful and classy setting. I lined up the bridal party and prepared for the grand entrance. The bridal party walked or you might say they jammed into the main room to the popular song by PSY, Gangnam Style. The bride and groom walked into I Was Born To Love You by Queen. The first dance was Truly by Lionel Richie as they danced the whole song by themselves. Then I played as requested a second song as I invited all guests to join them on the dance floor to When I See You Smile by Bad English. After 3 toasts, salad and the blessing over the bread by the father of the bride, I invited him to join his daughter on the dance floor as they danced to Father and Daughter by Paul Simon. Then the party began as I played requested music off the lists provided by the bridge and groom and guest danced for almost an hour before dinner. Music from every era. Top 40, Give Me everything, LMFAO, some Salsa /Merengue and we even did a few line dances to include the Cha Cha slide. I was very surprised to see that before dinner the dance floor was packed for a full hour. During dinner we completed the remainder of the toasts from the brother and sisters of the newlyweds and then bride asked that I play a few requested songs that varied from Frank Sinatra, Kenny G, Air Supply, Dave Mathews Band, John Legend, Bruno Mars and many more artists that people were able to listen, eat and talk to one another during dinner. After dinner, the groom did a toast to all of the guests and his bride. Then we proceeded to cut the cake as they did it to Some Kinda Wonderful by Grand Funk. After the cake cutting the guests danced for a little while longer to include The Electric Slide, Michael Jackson and many more songs from the music request list provided by the bride. I ended the evening with I Had The Time Of My Life from Dirty Dancing and then their wedding song once again as they danced together with the remainder of their guests. Off on their honeymoon to Italy and for me the Virtual DJ Marc Evans, I will prepare for next weeks weddings, yes weddings both at The Bonnet House and The Spanish River Library ...looking forward to being there as they highly recommend Eddie B and Company and DJ Marc Evans.
