Aileen and Andrew Braxten celebrated their wedding at Benvenuto's Restaurant in Boynton Beach, FL on 7/19/2013. Aileen decided to have an indoor ceremony for all the guests to enjoy comfortably. Approximately 40 guests witnessed the happy couple tie the knot then they were invited to the cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers. After the cocktail hour all of the guests were directed to the reception for the grand entrance. Aileen chose Vivir Mi Vida by Marc Anthony for the parents intro, The Harlem Shake for the junior bridesmaid and groomsman, Sinister Kid by The Black Keys for the maid of honor and best man and Don't Stop The Party by Pitbul for her and Andrew. They went right into their first dance which was Here and Now by Luther Vandross then Aileen danced with her dad to Mi Nina Bonita by Juan Legido and Andrew danced with his mom to How Do I Live by Leann Rimes. The toasts were given by Cherelle (maid of honor) and James (best man). Aileen and Andrew did not provide me with a play list but did request that I play a mix of salsa, merengue, bachata, reggae, top 40 and disco. Aileen is of Puerto Rican descent and Andrew is Jam-erican. The mix was perfect as all of the guests filled the dance floor after the main course. There were only 40 guests but it felt like 100!! It was fun watching them dance and have such a great time. The cake cutting, garter/bouquet toss and anniversary dance were performed towards the end of the evening but the highlight of the night was performing the Harlem Shake!! The last song for the evening was Last Dance by Donna Summer as all of the guests gave Aileen and Andrew a group hug on the dance floor. Congrats to Aileen, Andrew and the entire Braxten and Mercado families. Special thanks to Aileen's dad Luis for making me feel like part of the family!!
