Wedding and Reception at Benvenuots Caterestaurant (2nd of the day)

It's me again, the virtual DJ Marc Evans of Eddie B & Company partying with a bride and groom that celebrated all night with family and friends at Benvenutos of Boynton Beach. On October 27th, 2012 in front of 160 guests, Jason and Kelly were married in a beautiful setting in the court yard, with a sligt breeze in the air. While family and friends watched on, the bridal party walked down the aisle to Air on  G string, by Bach. Canon in D, is what the bride selected to walk down the aisle to. When the bride and groom were pronounced husband and wife, I played as requested, The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba, by Handel. This is a classy song to play once anyone is pronounced as husband and wife. For cocktail hour, the bride and groom wanted some old swing classics such as Frankie, Dean and many of the other popular swing artists.The music was perfectly played and selected by Marc Evans. The evening could not have been more beautiful. Once cocktail hour was over and the guests were invited into the room. They entered into a very beautiful setting with flowers everywhere and uplighting that was the color of amber. I lined up the very large bridal party and prepared for the grand entrance. The bridal party was introduced to the request of the bride, I gotta feeling by black eyed peas. Get Crazy by LMFAO, was played as I introduced the newlyweds they danced into the beautifully well lit room packed with guests and did a lot of fist pumping as the song was from the show Jersey Shore.The first dance was a choreographed dance routine to the song The Best is Yet To Come by Michael Buble.  A very good choice of song and an awesome dance routine. After the dance, I played as requested, The way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinatra, and I invited all the guests to join the newlyweds  on the dance floor. The floor was packed with 160 people ready to celebrate with Jason and Kelly. After the toasts, by the best man and the maid of honor, salad was served. I then proceeded to introduce the father of the bride as they danced to My Little Girl by Tim McGraw. The groom danced with his mom to I Hope You Dance by Leann Womack. Then the party started. It was AWESOME!!!!!! They danced to PSY, Gangnam, LMFAO, Pitbull. They did the Cupid Shuffle. They dance and partied to everything I played. During dinner the bride asked that I play songs from the Rat Pack. Frankie, Stevie, Dean and even Nat King Cole. Perfectly selected songs by Marc Evans as I love those guys. I also added some additional songs that I had played at other parties that I felt during dinner they were appropriate. I keep the music low so the guests can eat and talk to one another.After dinner, once again all the guests of bride and groom dance all night long. Starting with some sixties to the 70's and then Top 40 club hits is what they literally danced to all night. Pitbull, Beyonce, Otis Redding and many more artists. I played hip hop, Jayzee, TI, 50 Cent and many others.We did something at this party that I had never done before. We did the money dance. But here is the twister, to dance with the bride or groom you had to put money in a basket then drink a shot. Yes drink a shot then dance with the bride or groom. This was soooo much fun...they drank three trays of shots. The last song of the evening as requested by the happily married couple was At Last by Etta James. This got the remainder of the couples to join them on the dance flor as the evening came to a close. Off to New York City for the honeymoon, and for me the Virtual DJ Marc Evans, I will prepare for next weeks wedding in Jensen Beach....enjoy and hope to see you at your special day! DJ/MC Marc Evans
