Wedding and Reception at Benvenutos

Sean and Michelle Couture celebrated their wedding on 10/21/2011 at Benvenuto's Restaurant in Boynton Beach, FL.  They decided to go with a two man team so DJ Roberto Miranda and myself had the honor of working another wedding for this awesome family.  Two years earlier Roberto and myself worked Michelle's sister Meghan's wedding at Deer Creek C.C.  It was a fabulous wedding back then and this one had almost double the guests.  It started with a beautiful ceremony in the courtyard where the bridal party walked in to From This Moment by Shania Twain (classical version) and Michelle and her dad walked in to The Wedding March (Here Comes The Bride).  Michelle and Sean surprised everyone with Everybody Needs Somebody To Love by The Blues Brothers as their recessional song. It broke the ice as everyone danced their way to the cocktail hour.  After some pictures in the courtyard I lined up the bridal party for the grand entrance.  All the guests were on their feet as we introduced the bridal party to Jump In The Line by Pitbull then bride and groom to You Make Me Feel by Cobra Starship.  Sean and Michelle chose Stand By Me by Playing for a Change as their first dance.  Soon after Michelle dance with her dad to My Girl by The Temptations and Sean danced with his mom to My Wish by Rascal Flatts.  Meghan (maid of honor) and Ian (best man) made to great speeches and then it was dad's turn.  Michelle's dad David Dunleavy is a very funny guy who is never at a loss for words.  He made a great toast for his daughter and new son in law and thanked everyone for attending their special day.  During the first two courses we played a mix of oldies and love songs for the guests to get their blood flowing before the main course.  As you can imagine as soon as the main course was finished the dance floor got crazy!!  As I MC'ed the wedding, Roberto DJ'ed and played a mix of Michelle and Sean's favorite requests from the song list.   Roberto mixed in top 40, hip-hop, salsa, merengue, oldies and classic rock.  After we performed the anniversary dance, cake cutting and garter/bouquet toss it was back to the dancing.  The highlights of the evening were Michelle's dad's toast (very funny) and Michelle's dad and Sean's dad singing Rawhide by The Blues Brothers as the last song for the evening(PRICELESS)!!!!  I can't thank the management and staff at Benvenuto's enough for the amazing job they do from ceremony to last dance.  They truly are professionals!!!  Also thanks to Michelle and Sean for letting Roberto and myself be a part of another successful Dunleavy wedding.
