Wedding and Reception at Benvenutos
On Sunday March 11, 2018 I had the pleasure to play for Mateus and Marianne’s wedding at the beautiful Benvenutos. Close to 70 close friends and family members joined them for their special day. Ceremony took place on courtyard. As guests were arriving I played a mix of violin instrumental songs. Bridal party walked down the aisle to “Jesus, Joy Of Mans Desiring” String Quartet version, Marriane walked down to “ Wedding March” String Quartet Version, processional was to “Time To Say Good Bye” String Quartet version. Reception took place in main ball room, as guests entered I played a mix of up beat pop. Bridal party was introduced to “Uptown Funk” by Bruno Mars. Mateus and Marianne shared a very special first dance to “Once Upon A Dream” by String Quartet. Toast was given by best man G.A. During dinner I played a mix of low key bossa nova and jazz. Once dinner concluded cake cutting was to “Sugar” by Maroon 5, followed by bouquet toss to “Single Ladies” by Beyonce. Dance floor was opened to “Cake” by Flo Rida from there on I mixed all the new top 40 hits, classic rock, brazilian axe, samba and funk. Last song of the day was “In My Life” by The Beatles.
