Good Day Bloggers!
DJ Gregg here with this weeks installment of the WEDDING BLOG.
On Saturday I had the pleasure of being the DJ for Thomas and Christina. They were married on Saturday 04/06/2019 at Benvenuto in Boynton Beach. I really love this venue!
The ceremony was held out in the courtyard. As the guests arrived, I played music from the Vitamin String Quartet.
For the parents and the bridal party entrance I played "Canon in D Minor" by Pachabel. Then Christina walked down the aisle to "A Thousand Years" by Cristina Perri. The ceremony was performed by Christina's Uncle. The nuptials were sealed with a kiss and I played " Beautiful Day" by U2 for them to exit!
Cocktails were served at the bar. I played some cool lounge songs and wonderful standards. Everyone enjoyed the wonderful h'orderves.
After that, I invited all of the guests to the main room. It was illuminated with RED LED up lighting provided by Eddie B. & Company.
The introductions went flawlessly. I played "2U" by David Guetta for Thomas and Christina only. It went over great! They immediately went into their first dance. "Say you won't let go" byJames Arther was chosen.
Soon after that I invited Rebecca the maid of honor and Nick, the best man to do their toasts and dedications. Very touching.
Now dinner is served. I played some old school tunes and vocals. After dinner we really got the party started! This was truly a dancing crowd and the dance floor was packed all evening. I was able to play all different styles and genres of music. It was a really well rounded crowd. I was able to have Thomas and Christina cut the cake and feed each other. During this time, I was asked to play "Better Together" by Jack Johnson.. Soon after, we returned to the party. A great time for them and a great experience for me!
Congratulations to Christina and Thomas!
