Wedding and Reception at Benvenutos | Nov-2017

DJ Gregg here with this weeks installment of the Wedding blog. On Saturday I had the pleasure of being the DJ at John and Alexandra's wedding. It was held at the beautiful Benvenuto's  in Boynton Beach. This is a great venue and the service is excellent!

As the guests arrived to the ceremony in the courtyard, I played some classical music to set the mood.

The bridal party walked down the aisle to "Love Forever" by Fiona Joy Hawkins

Then Alexandra entered to "Sweet Escape" by Paul Cardall. The ceremony was officiated by a close family friend who was also a minister. It was very touching.

The guests went to the bar area to enjoy the smooth Saxophone sounds of Stuey Blue! 

After the cocktail hour, I invited all of the guests into the main dining room. The room looked great and featured a custom made monogram light for John and Alexandra. I then lined the bridal party up and introduced them into the dining room. I was asked to use"Know no Better" by Major Lazer . Then John and Alexandra entered with "Nothing Holding Me Back" by Shawn Mendes.

I proceeded to ask them to go into the first dance "Say You Won't Let Go" by James Arthur was used. It worked perfectly. I then played the father/daughter dance. "Forever Young" by Rod Stewart. The champagne was poured and it was time to say a few words. First, Guessepe the Best Man spoke and then Clarissa, the  Maid of Honor. Very touching and lots of fond memories.. Then Gail, Alexandra's mom spoke and mentioned how proud she was of her daughter and how much she cares for her new son in law!

During dinner I played some oldies, classic rock, and smooth tunes as requested by the bride and groom. I also invited everyone to the photo booth provided by Eddie B & Company and manned by Chris! Silly Hats and Glasses galore!

Once dinner was over,everyone was ready to get out and party, so that is exactly what they did! I played a lot of Hip Hop, Latin and top 40 and even some Rock and Roll as requested by John and Alexandra. It allowed all of the generations to get out and dance. In fact, the dance floor was packed all night long!!!!

We cut the cake with "How Sweet it is" by James Taylor. Then we did the bouquet toss. 

After that we danced the rest of the evening. It was a lot of fun...
