Wedding and Reception at Coconut Cove Resort / Islamorada

Mr. And Mrs. Thomas Meyer had a beautiful Wedding and Reception at Coconut Cove Resort in Islamorada. 

After the ceremony, I played a mixture of Classic Rock and Standards for the Cocktail Hour. Afterward, the Bride and Groom had a first dance to The Grateful Dead's Shining Star with Fireworks provided by the Resort in the Background. Then the evening really kicked in! The Bride and Groom had requested I play mostly music by the Grateful Dead. For over 2 hours the majority of the guests danced to " Dead Head" music. It was, to say the least, a customized musical format which worked beautifully for this audience. 

The evening ended with the playing of The Dead's version of Not Fade Away but only after numerous encores! It is safe to say that everyone had a great time and the Bride and Groom achieved their goal of having a different and customized format of Music!
