Wedding and Reception at Coconut Cove Resort / Islamorada

Vertrena and Andrew Robinson celebrated their wedding at the Coconut Cove Resort in Islamorada Keys, FL on 9/7/2021.  All of the 35 guests arrived to the resort and were directed to the beach for the ceremony.  The weather was perfect as the happy couple made it official with a big kiss.  After the ceremony they posed for pictures with immediate family members as all of the guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers at the tiki bar.  Vertrena and Andrew did not have a grand intro but they did have everyone find their seats and prepare for a buffet style dinner.  During dinner a few friends and family members gave speeches and the blessing of the meals.  The "surprise" first dance was held on the beach.  We call it a surprise because during the first dance the resort provides a firework show right over the bride and groom.  The dancing continued at the dj tiki hut then they performed the garter/bouquet toss along with the cake cutting ceremony.  Vertrena asked me to stay 1 hour overtime because they were really having a great time with the music I was playing.  The closing song for the evening was Before I Let Go by Frankie Beverly and Mase and that put a bow on a very nice Tuesday night keys wedding.
