On Nov.19th,2011 I played at the Deer Creek Country Club for a ceremony/reception.The happy couple was Suzanna & Louis Martinez. They chose a instrumental version of "When You Kiss Me" by Shania Twain for her to walk to.The recessional was "Beautiful Day" by U2 .A nice mix of music was requested for cocktail hour,Groove Armada...J.Mayer...Estelle and Reggae.I introduced the couple and they went into their first dance "By Your Side" by Sade. After a toast by the best-man it was time for a 3 course dinner. During dinner Suzanna danced with her father to "The Way You Look Tonight" by Sinatra and Louis danced with his mother to "All To You" D.J. Keo. After a nice meal it was dance time till the cutting of the cake to "Love Song" by 311. The bride had music for me to play from her country called "Macedonian"....and boy did they dance.I had a list of today's top 40 pop/dance reggae and salsa/merengue to play for all to enjoy. What a fun crowd....wish Louis and Suzy the best...Thanxs Roberto (D.J./M.C. Rob)
