Wedding and Reception at Deer Creek Country Club
Jessica and Harrison Rykus celebrated their dream wedding at the Deer Creek Country Club in Deerfield Beach, FL on 4/20/2018. This amazing wedding began with an outdoor ceremony at the trellis next to the waterfall. Approximately 150 close friends and family members arrived to Deer Creek and witnessed the happy couple tie the knot. The cocktail hour followed immediately after the ceremony and as all of the guests mingled I played a mix of tropical tunes. Myself and Chris also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 blue colored, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights a monogram with their names and our signature "Strike A Pose" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company. As the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 16 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Jessica chose Bring 'Em Out by T.I. for the bridal party intros and Celebration by Kool & The Gang for her and Harrison's intro. The first dance was to Perfect by Tyler Ward and Lisa Cimorelli then Jessica danced with her dad to a mix that they choreographed and Harrison danced with his mom to What A Wonderful World by L. Armstrong. The toasts were given by Sari (matron of honor) and David (best man) then all of the guests found their seats and prepared for a 4 station style dinner. Jessica did provide me with a play list that included top 40, country, 80s and 90s dance hits, hip-hop and Motown. Needless to say the dance floor filled up quickly after dinner!!! This was one of the most dancing group of guests I have had so far this year. They genuinely enjoyed the mix of genres I played that evening. As the evening progressed Jessica and Harrison had a cake cutting ceremony and the garter/bouquet toss along with a few group dances. The closing songs for the evening were Last Dance by Donna Summer and Good Riddance by Green Day...what a night to remember! Congrats to Jessica, Harrison and the entire Rykus and Kurzwell families.
