Saturday evening, October 13th at the Deer Creek Country Club is where the wedding celebration for Dante and Gina Deritis was held as DJ Marc Evans of Eddie B & Company helped to create an unforgettable day.
The ceremony was held by the water falls as the bridal party walked down the aisle to A Thousand Years by Christina Perri and then Gina walked down the aisle to Canon in D by Mozart. Once the Pastor pronounced them husband and wife, they walked down the aisle to Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours. by Stevie Wonder.
Cocktail hour was on the terrace as Gina picked the cocktail genre that included, Zac Brown, Journey, Billy Joel, Bob Marley, Dave Mathews and many more that created a great cocktail hour.
The ballroom was opened and highlighted in Fuschia LED up lighting provided by Eddie B & Company. The guests entered as I prepared the bridal party for their entrance. The parents and the bridal party entered to Sharp Dressed Man and I Gotta Feeling. Gina and Dante danced in to Finally by CeCe Penniston and the LED dance floor lights were moving all around the room. Gina and Dante then proceeded to begin their first dance which was not only choreographed but they danced on a cloud created by Eddie B & Company's Cumulus Cloud machine. The song they danced to was Tougher Than the Rest by Bruce Springsteen.
Guests were asked to be seated as the first course, the prayer and then the toasts were all being held prior to a dance set. During the toasts entered a special guest, Rocky Balboa as I played the Theme from Rocky and Eye Of The Tiger..too funny!!!,
The father daughter dance was to Daddy’s Little Girl and the mother son to Simple Man.
Once dinner was over the guests danced throughout the entire night to every genre possible from hip hop to doo wop and some Salsa and Merengue as well. I made a circle at the end of the evening as the guests sang That's What Friends are For to Gina and Dante and then We Are Family followed by the last song, Good Riddance by Greenday... off on the honeymoon as they thanked me, DJ Marc Evans for a great evening.
