Tanya and Jose DeJesus celebrated their wedding at Diamante's Catering Hall on 7/14/2012 in Tamarac, FL. The event began with a beautiful ceremony in the east wing at Diamante's. As the approximately 50 guests entered they were directed to have a seat and witness Tanya and Jose tie the knot. After the ceremony the guests were treated to a cocktail hour with drinks, appetizers and a mix of Rat Pack favorites. The event was running very smoothly then the doors to the grand ballroom opened and everyone was invited to their tables for the grand entrance. Tanya and Jose decided on Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO as the entrance song for the bridal party and This Is Your Night by Amber for themselves. As the they entered they went right into their first dance which was Share My Life by KEM. Tanya then danced with her dad to My Wish by Rascal Flatts. Unfortunately Jose's mom was not able to make the trip from Puerto Rico so there was no Mother/Son dance. JR(best man) and Jennifer(maid of honor) gave two great toasts then the first course was served. Tanya and Jose did provide me with a top 30 song lists that consisted of top 40, salsa, merengue, bachata, old school hip-hop and r&b. It was a perfect mix of music for this particular crowd. Jose is of Puerto Rican decent and Tanya is Irish/American. After the main course the dance floor opened up and the dancing began. The highlight of the evening was watching Jose's nephews dance the Cha Cha Slide and The Cupid Shuffle. They added a twist to the dances that I never saw before. The cake cutting and the garter/bouquet toss followed then more dancing. The anniversary dance was won by Tanya's parents who then got the opportunity to give Tanya and Jose some great marital advise. The last songs for the evening were Save The Last Dance For Me by Michael Buble, Last Dance by Donna Summer and Closing Time by Semisonic. Congrats to Tanya and Jose DeJesus and to the Gaylor family.
