The weather couldn't stop Lori and Steven from getting married!
It was a wet Saturday on June 1st, but that didn't stop us from having a party. Lori and Steven were married at Galuppi's in Pompano Beach.
As the guests arrived, I played some classic instrumental music for the ceremony prelude. The bridal party walked to Pachabel's' Canon in D Minor. Lori walked to the "Wedding March". It was a very traditional ceremony. I then played the "Wedding Recessional" as they exited.
Since the rain stopped us from going outside for cocktail hour, I was instructed to introduce the bride and groom prior to starting the drinks flowing. I played "Me and You" by Kenny Chesney as the 1st dance. I then played "I Swear" by All For One, for the rest of the guests.
After cocktail hour, we did the best man speeches, and they served dinner.
After dinner, I played "My Little Girl" for Lynn and her dad to dance to.
It was very touching.
Now we get the party started!
I was all over the map in regards to music styles. Everything from Country to Adult Contemporary Top 40 hits.
You name it, I played it!
We then cut the cake to "How Sweet it Is" by James Taylor.
We did the garter and Bouquet toss to "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper and "Pour Some Sugar On Me" by Def Leppard.
Now back to dancing.
I Played "Tuesday's Gone" by Lynyrd Skynyrd as the last dance.
