On Saturday, May 28th, 2011 I played for Isabel and Ewen Anderson and 90 guests at the beautiful Jacaranda Country Club. We started at 10 AM in the morning with a ceremony in the outside pavillion. For the processional I played "When I First Saw You" by Jamie Foxx & Beyonce, and then Isabel walked to "Marry Me" by Train. After they exchanged their vows a classic by Dean Martin was the couples choice, "Ain't That A Kick in the Head" for the recessional! The guests were then invited back to the country club for cocktail hour, while Isabel and Ewen took photos around the property with Michael from "Affordable Pro". I introduced the bridal party to "Get The Party Started" by B.E.P. and their first dance was a duet by Luther Vandross & Beyonce, "The Closer I Get To You". Isabel is from the Phillipines and Ewen from Jamaica, so I played alot of reggae classics during dinner and afterwards I fired up the dance floor with some Socca, Calypso, and Top 40 club hits. The garter/bouquet ceremony was alot of fun, Ewen made a little show of the whole ordeal and the guests were into it! I ended the aftrenoon at 3 PM and played Sean Kingston's "Letting Go" for the final song. I want to thank Darlene, Jeff and their entire staff for a job well done (as always), at Jacaranda, one of the most sought after venues for a wedding in Broward County. Isabel and Ewen are off to Margaritaville in Key West for their honeymoon.....Thanx again DJ/MC Eddie B!
