Sammie and Logan Serraes celebrated their dream wedding at the Jacaranda Country Club in Plantation, FL on 10/14/2017. The ceremony was held indoors because the weather was not cooperating that afternoon. It was still a beautiful ceremony where approximately 100 guests witnessed the happy couple tie the knot. The cocktail hour took place immediately after the ceremony in the club house room. I played a mix of Rat Pack favorites while I decorated the ballroom with 24 light blue colored, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. As the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 17 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Sammie chose I Gotta Feeling by The Black Eyed Peas for the bridal party intros and Let's Get Ready to Rumble by Jock Jams for her and Logan's intro. The first dance was to When I Say I Do by Clint Black and Lisa Hartman then Sammie danced with her dad to Little Miss Magic by Jimmy Buffet and Logan danced with his Aunt Mary to You're Never Alone by Lady Antebellum. As soon as everyone found their seats, Zach (best man) and Christie (maid of honor) gave the toasts then Sammie's dad Mr. Parsons gave the welcoming speech. The 5 station/buffet was ready for all to enjoy and the reception was in full swing. Sammie did provide me with a play list that included top 40, country, classic rock and funk. What a great mix of genres Sammie chose for her guests. That dance floor was rockin' the entire night. As the evening progressed the happy couple did have a cake cutting ceremony but the dance floor was where all the partying took place. At the end of the evening everyone gathered on the dance floor in a big circle to sing a-long to Mr. Parsons' favorite song A Pirate Looks At 40 by Jimmy Buffet....PRICELESS!!! These are the moments that make my job so enjoyable. Congrats to Sammie, Logan and the entire Serraes and Parsons families.
Special thanks to Jeff and his incredible staff at the Jacaranda C.C. for their excellent service!!
