Amie and James Gonzalez celebrated their wedding at the Jacaranda C.C. in Plantation, FL on 12/1/2017. Approximately 100 guests arrived to the C.C. and were directed to the gazebo for the ceremony. Everyone cheered loudly when the happy couple sealed their love with a big kiss. The cocktail hour took place at the club house bar. I played a mix of tropical tunes while everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 red , LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. As the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 17 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Amie chose A Little Party Never Killed Nobody by Goon Rock for the bridal party intros and 24k by Bruno Mars for her and James' intro. The first dance was to Clear by Needtobreathe then Amie danced with her dad to I Loved Her First by Heartland and James danced with his mom to Sweet Baby James by James Taylor. All of the guests found their seats and prepared for a 5 station/buffet style dinner. Amie did provide me with a play list that included top 40, classic rock, 80s and 90s dance hits and country. After dinner the dance floor filled up very quickly. Amie's guests really enjoyed the mix of genres. As the night progressed we did have a cake cutting ceremony, the garter/bouquet toss and they played the shoe game along with an anniversary dance. The closing song for the evening was I've Had The Time Of My Life from the Dirty Dancing Soundtrack...PRICELESS!! Congrats to Amie, James and the entire Gonzalez and Shantz families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Jacaranda C.C. for their excellent service!!
