Erika and Russell Moffitt celebrated their wedding at the Jacaranda Country Club in Plantation, FL on 10/19/2018. Approximately 100 close friends and family members arrived to Jacaranda that Friday late afternoon and were directed to the gazebo for the ceremony. The cocktail hour was held in the club house and as I played a mix of tropical tunes all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. Myself and Chris took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 amber, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights and our "Mirror Me" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom for the reception I lined up the 12 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Erika chose Can't Stop The Feeling by J. Timberlake for the bridal party intros and How We Do by The Game for her and Russell's intro. The first dance was to Amazed by Lonestar then Erika danced with her mom to Mamma by Carrie Underwood and Russell danced with his mom to Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion. The toasts were given by Samantha (maid of honor) and Michael (best man) then everyone found their seats and prepared for 4 station/buffet style meal. Erika did provide me with a play list that included top 40, country, 90s dance hits and oldies. After dinner the dance floor opened up and it was a non-stop dance party for most of the evening. They all took a break for the cake cutting ceremony and the garter/bouquet toss as the night progressed. The closing song for the evening was Good Riddance by Green Day and that put a bow on a great Friday night wedding at Jacaranda. Congrats to Erika, Russell and the entire Moffitt and Furspan families.
Special thanks to the amazing staff at Jacaranda for always providing excellent service.
