Wedding and Reception at John U Lloyd State Park
Andrea and Jonny Vazquez celebrated their wedding at John U. Lloyd State Park in Dania Beach, FL on 1/7/2017. This awesome wedding began with a outdoor (beach) ceremony over-looking the Atlantic Ocean. Andrea and Jonny tied the knot in front of approximately 75 close friends and family members. After the ceremony all of the guests were invited to the pavilion for the cocktail hour and reception. I played a mix of tropical tunes while everyone enjoyed drinks and appetizers and the happy couple posed for pictures. For the bridal party and bride and groom intros Andrea and Jonny chose Everything Tonight by Pitbul for the grand entrance. The first dance was to Truly, Madly, Deeply by Savage Garden then Andrea danced with her dad to You Are The Sunshine of My Life by Stevie Wonder and Jonny danced with his mom to What A Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong. The welcoming speech was given by Andrea's dad Gary then Shelly (maid of honor) and Paul (best man) gave 2 very funny toasts. Andrea did provide me with a play list that included top 40, oldies, country and 90s dance hits. After a buffet style dinner the dance floor filled up and they danced the night away. As the night went on I had everyone gather by the cake for the cake cutting ceremony then everyone made their way to the dance floor for the garter/bouquet toss. What a fun group of friends and family members that I got the pleasure of playing for that Saturday evening. The last song for the evening was Closing Time by Semisonic as all of the remaining guests gathered on the dance floor one final time. Congrats to Andrea, Jonny and the entire Vazquez and Charles families. Have a great honeymoon kids!!
