Jeff and Aprill Lee planned a perfect destination wedding/get-a-way cruise on 10/26/2012. This is how they pulled it off. First a beautiful wedding ceremony at Jungle Island in Miami FL. at 9am. About 80 guests witnessed the ceremony which was officiated by April's uncle Tom Benstein. The ceremony was held outdoors but under cover because of the weather. Soon after everyone was invited to the cocktail hour were the guests got to enjoy drinks, appetizers and tropical tunes as they also took pictures with 4 huge parrots and a monkey. As the doors to the main ballroom opened all of the guests shuffled in and found their seats for the grand entrance. April chose Let's Get It Started by The Black Eyed Peas for the 19 member bridal party intros and I'm Sexy and I Know It by LMFAO for her and Jeff's intro. The first dance was to Smile by Uncle Kracker then April danced with her dad then step-dad to Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlisle and Jeff danced with his mom to Forever Young by Rod Stewart (she is a huge Rod Stewart fan). By this time it was about 11:30 am and the guests were treated to a late morning brunch buffet. During brunch one of Jeff's bestmen Greg (an English chap) made a very funny toast to the happy couple then April's sister Ashley followed it up with a very touching toast. I was provided with a short play list from Jeff and April which included some soft rock, classic rock, top 40, disco and oldies. It was about 1pm when we performed the anniversary dance, the cake cutting and the garter/bouquet toss then Jeff and April requested that I play all of the boat, cruise, ocean and sea songs that I have. You see 50 of the 80 guests hopped on a shuttle from Jungle Island straight to the Majesty of the Sea Cruise Liner in the port of Miami for a 3 day cruise. Imagine 50 of the 80 guests going with the bride and groom on their honeymoon...unbelievable!! That is called preparation my friends. Congrats to Jeff and April Lee and to the Majoy, Kind, Linton and Lee families...have a great cruise!! DJ Ray
