Saturday evening January 23, at La Siesta in Islamorada Florida over looking the ice blue ocean, is where the celebration began for Mike and Lauren Burke. The ceremony was held on the sand in front of friends and family over looking the Florida Keys as the sun was setting and love was in the air. The bridal party walked down the aisle on the sand to A Thousand years by the Piano Guys. Lauren walked down the aisle with her brother to John Legends instrumental version of All of Me. Once pronounced husband and wife Mike escorted Lauren down the aisle to Stevie Wonder, Signed, Sealed, Deliver I'm Yours.
Cocktail hour continued on the sand over looking the ocean right in the same area the ceremony was as I played some Reggae and Steel drum to fit the atmosphere.
Following the cocktail hour, the guests were invited to the main house where the wedding continued under the sunset and the moonlight to the sounds of DJ Marc Evans.
Mike and Lauren were introduced to Higher Love by Whitney and Kygo. The first dance followed to You Make it Easy by Jason Aldean. The brother sister dance was to Count On Me by Jason Mraz.
Dinner was then served and completed as the toast were made, followed by the cake cutting ceremony.
The party began as the music genre consisted of everything from the Love Shack to Neil Diamond and lots of dance and hip hop to include all line dances from The Cha Cha Slide to The Wobble and Cupid Shuffle, disco for mom and her friends and lots and lots of booty music.
Lauren and Mike asked me to play Friends in Low Places and Don't Stop Believing as the last songs of the night as they thanked me for a great time with there family and friends as they danced all night to the sounds of DJ Marc Evans.
