Monika and Eric Swain celebrated their wedding at the Living Sculpture Sanctuary in Davie, FL on 5/15/2021. This amazing wedding began with a ceremony in the courtyard where approximately 90 close friends and family members witnessed the happy couple tie the knot. The cocktail hour and reception also took place outdoors and as all of the guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers I decorated the reception area with 20 amber, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. I lined up the 27 member bridal party for the grand entrance while all of the guests found their seats. The bridesmaid's intro was to Wannabe by The Spice Girls, the groomsmen's intro was to All The Small Things by Blink 182 and Monika and Eric's intro was to Shut Up and Dance With Me by Walk The Moon. The first dance was to I Prayed For You by Matt Stell then Monika danced with her dad to Summer Wind by Frank Sinatra and Eric danced with his mom to That Home by New Boys. The toasts were given by Vicki and Molly (matrons of honor) and Z (best man) then the parent of the bride gave the welcoming speech. The buffet/station style dinner was ready and the reception was under way. Monika did provide me with a play list that included top 40, latin favorites, classic rock and 80s and 90s hits. What a great mix of genres for this very upbeat/energetic group of guests. The dance floor was packed for most of the evening especially for the group dances. The cake cutting ceremony was performed as the evening progressed but there was no garter/bouquet toss. As all of the guests gathered for one last time of the dance floor I played Bye Bye Bye by N'Sync as the closing song.
Congrats to Monika, Eric and the entire Swain family.
Special thanks to the staff at the Sanctuary for always providing excellent service.
