Monica and Daniel Hanneman celebrated their dream wedding at the Parkland Country Club in Parkland, FL on 2/17/2018. The outdoor ceremony was held in front of the fountain. Approximately 130 close friends and family members witnessed a beautiful ceremony and cheered loudly as the happy couple sealed their love with a big kiss. The cocktail hour followed immediately after the ceremony and as the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers I played a mix of tropical tunes. I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 Royal Blue, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 16 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Monica chose Bring 'Em Out by T.I. for the bridal party entrance and Enter Sandman by Metallica for her and Daniel's entrance. The first dance was to Perfect by Ed Sheeran then Monica danced with her dad to Tiempo De Vals by Chayanne and Daniel dance with his mom to I Hope You Dance by L. Womack. The toasts were given by Nicole (maid of honor) and Nicholas (best man) then everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal. Monica did provide me with a play list that included top 40, classic rock, hip-hop, and 80s and 90s hits. After dinner the dance floor opened up and it was hot for the entire evening. They only took break for the cake cutting and the garter/bouquet toss. Monica and Daniel also surprised their guests by performing the shoe game...HILARIOUS!!! The closing song for the evening was Marry You by Bruno Mars and that put a bow on a great Saturday night Parkland Country Club wedding!! Congrats to Monica, Daniel and the entire Hanneman and Ruiz families. Daniel is a 2009 alumni from Marjory Stoneman Douglas H.S. and he works at a hospital that took care of the wounded the day of the shooting. Thank you Daniel for being one of the many heroes that day...God Bless!!!!
Special thanks to Tara and her amazing staff at the Parkland Country Club!!
