Sarah and Kevin Turmel celebrated their wedding at the Parkland Country Club in Parkland, FL on 10/1/2021. Approximately 65 close friends and family members arrived to the club that Friday evening and were invited to the outdoor ceremony over-looking the golf course. The cocktail hour and reception were also held outdoors and as all of the guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers at the cocktail hour I played a mix of tropical tunes. Before the guests found their seats at the reception I decorated the reception area with 20 amber, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights and a gobo/monogram with their names and the date all provided by Eddie B & Company. Sara chose Let Me Clear My Throat for the bridal party intros and The Greatest Show by Panic at The Disco for her and Kevin's intro. The first dance was to A Million Dreams by Anthem Lights then Sarah danced with her dad to Cinderella by S.C. Chapman and Kevin dance with his mom to You've Got A Friend In Me from the Toy Story Soundtrack. The toasts were given by Jacquelyn (maid of honor), Jake (groomsman) and Bob (father of the groom) then the first of a 3 course meal was served. During dinner I played a mix of Rat Pack favorites then I bumped it up a bit after dinner. I played a mix of top 40, country, oldies and Motown. Great mix of genres for this very fun group of guests. They filled the dance floor and only took break for the cake cutting ceremony and the garter/bouquet toss. The closing song for the evening was Friends In Low Places by Garth Brooks and that put a bow on a nice Friday night Parkland wedding.
Congrats to Sarah, Kevin and the entire Turmel, Gianos and Tringale families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Parkland Country Club for always providing top notch service.
